There are two styles of plans as follows:
Paper based Tracing = A4 / Letter sized - Use these to print out on your standard home printer - place them onto your board / timber! Now simply cut around the templates provided and screw them together - Simple. All you will need to do is to decide if you are going to cut the same pin style connectors as used in the CNC files - or modify by using simple straight cuts (maybe some other supports) and then screw the pieces together. There are two documents that can be printed out - one is for standard A4 paper and the other is for letter sized paper. Both variants are included in the file pack.
Strength - these units have a mortise and tenon type fixing - incredibly strong and pretty much hidden from view. The tolerance is tight and this is the reason that there has to be a range of sizes to suit various thicknesses of plywood.
CNC files - These will suit three different thicknesses of plywood :
17.3 mm (Standard for formply in Australia) - will work well with 16.8mm to 17.8mm
17.9 mm (Actual thickness of 0.703" - popular in the USA) - will work well from 17.4mm to 18.4mm
18.5 mm (Actual thickness of 23/32 is 18.3mm) will work well from 18.5mm to 19mm
Use these to cut your sheet into the correct size and shape needed.
Points to consider :
Handle - these show a 16mm handle - this will need to be purchased for this project.
Wheels - You will need to get 4 x swivel wheels from a hardware store nearby. Be mindful that fixing these to the outer corners will increase stability of the project as well.
Included in the file pack is the following :
Home woodwork user:
PDF files - to print out multiple pages on A4 and 'Letter' sized paper. (you will need to 'join' some paper together as some parts do not fit onto a single page). The files are suited for a woodworker who has the ability to cut out paper, trace around these onto a board, and has the ability to drill and screw products together. If you are looking for a step by step document showing how to cut and join each piece, then this file set is not for you. The file set will work well with those who can trace and cut to size, and use normal hardware to screw / join pieces together. It is aimed at a lower intermediate level woodworker. Note- there is a sample printout of 4xA4 sheets in the images shown below:
